Privacy Policy
What we collect when you visit this site or book with us, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. It's short, because there isn't much to it.
Real Replenish is a property-maintenance business in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We only collect the information we need to reply to you, quote the job, and do the work. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Booking form. Your name and phone number, plus anything optional you fill in: email, address or neighbourhood, the services you're interested in, a preferred day and time, and your notes.
- Texts, emails and Instagram messages. Whatever you send us when you reach out directly, including your phone number or email address.
- Job details. Your service address, what we did, and when. We may take before-and-after photos of our work and use them on our website and social media. We don't show house numbers, faces, or anything else that identifies you. If you'd rather we didn't use photos of your property, just tell us and we won't.
- Website visits. This site doesn't use cookies, analytics, or ad trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To reply to you, schedule a visit, and give you a quote.
- To do the work you booked and follow up about it.
- To keep track of membership discounts and past jobs.
- To keep basic business records, like invoices and bookkeeping.
We only text or email you about your own bookings and jobs. If you'd ever rather not hear from us, tell us and we'll stop.
Who else sees it
A few services help us run the business. They only see what they need to do their job:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) relays the booking form to our email inbox.
- Google (Gmail) stores our email, including the messages and form submissions you send us.
- Netlify hosts this website and keeps the server logs mentioned above.
- Instagram handles any messages you send us there, under its own privacy policy.
That's the full list. We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact and job details while you're a customer, and afterwards only as long as we need them for business records. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we have to keep a copy of an invoice or similar record for bookkeeping.
Your choices
- You can ask to see the information we have about you, fix anything that's wrong, or have it deleted.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time. Just tell us, and we'll stop contacting you.
- You never have to use the booking form. You can always text or email us instead, and only share what you're comfortable with.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Keeping it safe
Your information lives in password-protected accounts that only the people running Real Replenish can access. No system is perfect, but we keep the list of who can see your details as short as possible.
Kids
This site is for homeowners and property managers. It isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
